The B2B Scotland Convention yesterday reaffirmed our suspicion; that everyone wants to learn more about social media. We all know that the business world has gone mad for social media, and quite rightly, as social media is an exciting extension of your business communication strategy and development.  Speaker Gordon MacIntyre says, “Social media is nothing new”, and we here at target360 agree wholeheartedly, but with so many choices and so much information available how do you make people listen? Platform choice is accelerating as the noise grows and everyone jumps into digital space, with millions of opinions fighting for front stage, which are the voices you listen to? And how can you make yours stand out from the crowd? Of course this is a question of content but until you find the most effective channels to communicate, your content can get lost in the swarms of social space.

It keeps companies on their toes as they try to keep up and integrate social media into their marketing strategies.

Do you need to use them all? How do you choose? Most importantly, what will bring you more organic return on your b2b inbound marketing strategy?

Google indexes not only websites, but also images, videos, local listings, news stories, blog posts etc.  It’s not just your website that you should optimise but your whole online presence.
